BIOS version R01-G0 did not support automatic 'SETUP' changes when the CPU speed or CPU board (ALI or Intel) was changed.

BIOS version R01-G0 did not display the correct processor speed for 100, 120 & 130 Mhz processors.
R02-D0 5/6/95 This is the 'initial' release of the first shipping BIOS for the Acer M5 motherboard
R03-B0 BETA 17/8/95 The wrong CPU speed was shown when a 120MHz P54C was fitted. This has now been resolved.

The machine would hang if an Intel PRO/100 EISA card was fitted in EISA slot 3. This has now been fixed.

The keyboard controller device has been changed from an NEC part to Acer's own 5042 v5.0 device.
