UltraDMA/33 interface
Overall system performance is not governed by processor speed alone, especially in a server. With the integrated UltraDMA interface, not only are faster disk transfer speeds achieved, but also CPU usage is dramatically reduced, therefore freeing up the CPU to perform other tasks.
This results in much better system productivity.

Server Management
Additionally, the FT600 benefits from the inclusion of a sophisticated hardware management controller. This monitors the status of system critical items such as temperature, power and hard disk performance; controlling the fan speed to maintain an even system temperature; providing predictive drive failure notification and alerting the system administrator to physical intrusion of the system case. This ensures that the FT600 reliability is maintained at maximum levels, thereby reducing cost of ownership.

High Performance Memory
Support for SDRAM ensures the longevity of this product. Utilising the latest technology in memory subsystems means that, as your server grows, there are no system bottlenecks and the machine can continue to perform optimally.

USB
As standard, the FT600 has dual USB ports, allowing up to 127 devices to be attached per port. With USB, there is no more guesswork about which serial or parallel port to use, and devices can be added without requiring knowledge of IRQ settings, DMA channels or I/O addresses.
