The apricot VS550 is
a full specification, hard-working business PC. Because you can choose exactly the
required combination of accessories and features you need, it is also one of the most
economical options there is. The VS550 is built for serious work, with a state-of-the art
Apricot chassis, sound engineering and top quality components. Its straightforward basic
specification makes it a highly affordable, no-nonsense business workhorse. Meeting

With the VS550 you can choose exactly the
combination of processor, memory and hard disk you require to meet your business needs.
From a fast 166MHz to the latest 233MHz Pentium
with MMX technology processor; from 16MB to a massive 256MB of EDO high-performance RAM.
Because you only specify the features you need, the VS550 PC is an economical solution to
your business problems, and because it conforms with all the current industry standards,
the VS550 can expand and adapt as your business needs change.
Pentium with MMX
technology
The Pentium processor with MMX technology
includes all of the features of a standard Pentium processor, plus more. Because of its
improvements, you'll get a better, smoother and more realistic multimedia experience. As
raw power on its own is of limited value, the main motherboard used in the VS550 system
has been designed specifically to cater for the capabilities of these new Intel
processors, ensuring maximum performance from every component in the system.
Apricot quality
When it comes to quality, every component in the
VS550 lives up to the promise of the Apricot name. The chassis, is engineered to exacting
standards and even in the entry-level models, the processors, memory and hard disks are
selected from only the best and latest specification components available.
Desktop Management
Designed to be fully DMI compliant, each system
is supplied with a Windows application allowing a complete inventory of the system to be
made - including firmware and software revision levels.
In addition, each VS550 system is supplied with
'Electronic Fingerprinting'. This allows your choice of information (e.g. company name,
department, asset number, etc.) to be permanently recorded within each system, ensuring a
permanent record of system ownership to be available. |
