Multiple SCSI Hard Drives in VX FT

The maximum number of hard disks supported by the SCSI BIOS under MS-DOS in a VX FT is TWO. These drives would be selected as drive 0 and drive 1 with a tape (if used) as drive 2.

Xenix and Unix have no such limitations. The tape drive under these operating systems is always set as 2, so if three hard disks are installed, they would be selected as drives 0, 1 and 3.

Novell Netware is only limited by the maximum number of drives supported by the SCSI card (5). The tape drive is currently not supported under Novell.
