LS Pro Monitor Selection
In order to take into account different horizontal scan frequencies
currently in use with monitors in the Apricot range, an additional option has been added
to the set-up function. In previous systems the horizontal scan frequency was synchronised
to that required by the Sony HiVision 14" monitor (XJ44567). This resulted in the
user having to adjust horizontal size and position when using Eizo or multi-sync monitors
in 1024 x 786 resolution. The LS Pro now has an option to select the type of monitor
connected to the system unit, thus eliminating the need to adjust the monitor when
changing from DOS to high-resolution graphics.
To adjust the monitor selection, opt to change system configuration at
boot time. This will display the setup screen and provide an option under 'Monitor Type'
for one of the following.
