HyperRam failing with 32 MB fitted

HyperRam cards with 32MB fitted have been found to fail intermittently on Scorpion and Panther I motherboards with BIOS Ver 1.02.26.

Error reported: NMI error 111

At this stage we advise that you downgrade the BIOS to Ver 1.02.25 on any machines with the above config (Note: always drain CMOS when changing BIOS revision).

Reconfiguring your machine

  1. Run the Automatic Configuration with a reference disk Ver 8.2>
  2. Make any adjustments to the configuration to ensure that there are no configuration conflicts.
  3. Reboot* the machine so that the HyperRam card can now register all the memory.
  4. Cold boot the machine and confirm that the machine is correctly counting the total memory.

Note * : If an error occurs on reboot, initiate a cold boot at the same point.
