Industry standard window for expansion card I/O connections

To allow easy access to I/O ports on EISA and ISA expansion cards, all cards that conform to the specification must have these I/O ports within the shaded area shown below.

Should you experience any problems connecting to ports on an expansion card it may be due to them been outside of the limits shown below.
