Apricot MCA Machines with PS/2 mice and LAN Manager 2

It has recently been discovered that Apricot MCA machines (both Qi and FTs) with a PS/2 mouse and LAN Manager 2 will hang intermittently if both the keyboard and mouse are used at the same time.

The problem is under investigation by Apricot R&D and as soon as a fix has been found a further bulletin will be issued.

We therefore recommend that until a solution is available, any MCA server that is to run LAN Manager 2 should be configured WITHOUT a PS/2 mouse.
