Novell NetWare 2.xx/3.xx Server and Workstation Drivers and Shells

Novell have recently issued a number of updates to the workstation shell software and Novell NetWare 3.1x Server LAN card drivers. Apricot and Western Digital have also issued updated workstation and server drivers. As the correct combination of shells and drivers is recommended for Novell NetWare (especially under NetWare 3.1x), the current versions of all component software parts are listed below. We would recommend that ALL out-of-date versions be upgraded to the versions listed below. An '*' in the left hand margin indicates versions that have changed since the last issue of this IPB.

1) Novell NetWare Workstation Shell files (issued by Novell directly).

NETX.COM	V3.26 (920211)	The 3.26 shells were recently (17/4/92)
XMSNETX.EXE	V3.26 (920211)	released by Novell as an upgrade pack. The

		distributor, from NetWire, or from the Apricot
