New Novell NetWare Files
Novell have just released the latest version of the DOS and Windows
Client Upgrade kits......
DOSUP8.EXE contains updated files for IPX and ODI
workstation drivers. This update has been placed in file area 37 of Apricot Insight BBS.

A number of the ODI LAN card drivers supplied by Novell have also been
updated. More notably however is that Novell have withdrawn BNETX.EXE and PBURST.NLM from
the kit after identifying 'a rare problem that can result in data corruption'. For full

WINUP8.EXE contains updated drivers and files for
Windows 3.0/3.1 users. This update has been placed in file area 37 of Apricot Insight BBS.

Also, a number of the Novell supplied Windows DLL files have been
updated. See WINUP8.TXT for full details of the updates.
Note however that if you are installing this update onto a Windows for
Workgroups workstation, DO NOT update the file NETAPI.DLL, otherwise Windows will report a
'call to undefined Dynalink' message when starting up.
Also note that the NETWARE.DRV and NETWARE.HLP files should NOT be used
on workstations running the newer VLM workstation shells, as these are for NETx based
systems.
LANDR3.EXE contains the latest set of Novell
supplied/certified server drivers for NetWare 3.11/3.12/4.01 and SFT III v3.11. The cards
supported in this archive include all the NExxxx range of cards (such as the NE/2, the
NE/2-32, the NE2000, the NE3200 and so on), along with Token Ring, TRXNET and PCN2L
drivers. This update has been placed in file area 37 of Apricot Insight BBS.
