Novell NetWare Update Files

Novell have today released a number of update file for NetWare 3.1x and 4.01. As always, the files are available from the Apricot Insight BBS, or from the Novell NetWire forum on CompuServe (or via FTP from ftp.novell.com or ftp.apricot.co.uk).

• PU3X01.EXE
  This archive contains the latest releases of the NetWare 3.1x printing utilities for DOS workstations and it replaces PUTIL5.EXE. Changes over PUTIL5.EXE are a new version of CAPTURE.EXE (now version 3.75ptf) that fixes a problem with changing to and from form 0.
  
  
• 312PT4.EXE
  This archive contains the latest collection of patches for NetWare 3.12. It replaces earlier releases of 312PT?.EXE. All the patches are documented in the file 312PT4.TXT that is contained within the archive. It is recommended that this file is read closely before installing any of the patches, as there are a number of specific installation instructions to follow (for example, some of the patch files must be loaded from STARTUP.NCF rather than AUTOEXEC.NCF).
  
  
• 401PT4.EXE
  This archive contains the latest collection of patches for NetWare 4.01. It replaces earlier releases of 401PT?.EXE. All the patches are documented in the file 401PT4.TXT that is contained within the archive. It is recommended that this file is read closely before installing any of the patches, as there are a number of specific installation instructions to follow (for example, some of the patch files must be loaded from STARTUP.NCF rather than AUTOEXEC.NCF).
  
  
• IDE.EXE
  This archive contains the latest version of the IDE disk driver for NetWare 3.1x and 4.0x. The version of IDE.DSK in this archive supports ECHS and LBA translation for IDE disks larger than 500MB (1024 Cylinders). This driver will be needed on all systems with ECHS or LBA translation with >500MB hard disks.
