Welcome to new staff

Following continued expansion and growth of the Spares Division within Apricot Computers Limited, we have strengthened our team to include two new members of staff. Steve Bradley has joined Alf Oxford to enhance the information that we supply to our customers in terms of technical expertise over the telephone and also the issuing of Interim Product Bulletins and Spares Catalogues, while Claire Doyle has joined Sara Wojczynski to give extra assistance within Order Processing.

Steve's relationship with Apricot products dates back to 1984 when he joined ACT Computer Services (later to become Network Si), around the time of the launch of the very first Apricot 4th generation PC/Xi desktop computers. For the eight years prior to joining Apricot in 1996, he managed the Spares team at Network Si, with responsibility for all spare parts sales and repairs. The in-depth knowledge of Apricot products, developed over ten years in spares procurement and supply, which Steve brought with him is an enormous asset to the Apricot Spares Business group.

Claire joined Apricot in February 1996 as a Spares Order Desk Administrator. For the four years prior to her move to Apricot she worked in the accounts office of a major national company, where her activities and responsibilities included cash accounting and stock control. Here at Apricot, Claire deals with all aspects of the processing of spare parts orders and as part of the team, she also provides telephone back-up cover for calls to the Spares Order Desk from all our customers, both UK and International.
