Chase AT Cards with SCO XENIX 386 VR 2.3.1

In order for Chase At cards (AT4, AT8 and AT16) to function correctly under SCO XENIX 386 VR 2.3.1, it is necessary to install Chase Driver 3.12. This is the driver on release 3 of the Apricot Drivers disk (APRDEVS), which is now shipping with SCO XENIX VR 2.3.1 for AT systems.

If you require an update for your Apricot Drivers disk, please contact Apricot Unix Support who will supply one master copy for each reseller who requests it.

N.B. When upgrading an existing system, it is necessary to use 'custom' to de-install the current Chase driver first. It is good practise to take copies of the files '/etc/ttys' & '/etc/ttytype' prior to de-installing the old driver and re-installing the new one, since these files can then be copied back, thus maintaining the system configuration.
