Overview and Target Audience:

From installation through technical support to the highly qualified field engineer, these are designed to show the entire system including the operating system and management tools for a more rounded and complete solution. It is vital that the delegate is already familiar with the appropriate Operating System.

Ideal to sell to customers who have their own technical support department.

Goals:

  • To enable highly qualified engineers to fault find using software and system management tools
  • To allow delegates to design and specify remote management of complex systems
  • To provide delegates with the collective knowledge and experience of Mitsubishi Electric PC Division Technical Support department in the configuration and diagnosis of major systems
  • To increase the first time fix rate of corporate systems within major clients

  • Detailed descriptions of the software and/or technology to be covered
  • Live installations and use of the software components
  • Detailed information on device drivers, software modules and loadable components that affect the use of software on the range of Apricot servers
  • Hands on use of the software management tools where appropriate
  • Practical advice on how to get the best out of software tools in a support environment

Pre-requisites:

Each delegate must have a detailed knowledge of Apricot systems.

In addition each delegate must know the Operating System being shown, ie. NT, NetWare or UNIX where relevant. If delegates need to learn NT or UNIX first, then additional courses are available on request.
