All companies wishing to sell and/or support Mitsubishi Electric's PC Division products must be approved by Mitsubishi Electric's PC Division by becoming an Authorised Repair Centre (ARC).

An ARC is a company that has attained a level of accreditation within the Insight Technical Services On-line programme. This accreditation allows the ARC to undertake maintenance and support on Mitsubishi Electric PC products without affecting the warranty on the product.

An ARC wishing to become an Authorised Warranty Provider (this allows them to be put onto the SOP warranty table and allow warranty payments to be forwarded to them) must sign the warranty agreement.

ARC Classification

PWR - Primary Warranty Repairer

Primary Warranty Repairers are the companies authorised by Mitsubishi Electric's PC Division to hold the default warranty cover on products.

ASC - Authorised Service Centre

An Authorised Service Centre is a Reseller that is authorised to repair to module level without affecting the warranty on the product.

TPM - Third Party Maintainer

A TPM is an independent maintainer that does not sell Mitsubishi Electric's PC Division products into the Mitsubishi Electric's PC Division Channel. A TPM is a maintainer that is authorised to repair to module level without affecting the warranty on the product.

IHR - In House Repairer

An In House Repairer is normally a large company that has their own computer repair facility and is authorised to repair to module level without affecting the warranty on the product.

AWR - Authorised Warranty Repairer

An ASC, TPM or IHR that has signed the Warranty Agreement and receives an On-site warranty payment for carrying out warranty cover on assigned product.
