VX FT Expansion Slots and Add-in Cards

Apricot are currently evaluating the Ready Lines for the VX FT expansion slots due to the fact that they are gated together and a delay is introduced. It has been notified to us that certain add-in cards that are on the extremity of the MCA specification fail to be recognised.

One simple test for this is to install the card in the video slot as this ready line is passed directly to the motherboard and is not delayed.
