Apricot Generic Disks and DOS 4.0

We have received a number of calls concerning the inability to read "generic formatted" single and double sided disks under DOS 4.0.

This is due to the way Apricot Generics wrote the label sector on the disk. As a result of this, a utility has been written to alter the label sector of such disks.

The utility "GENDSK.EXE" is available via the Bulletin Board and can be found in area 42.
