LANstation Hard Disk Controller Failure

There has been a small number of reported instances of hard disk controller failure on LANstation machines. The fault has been identified as poor crimping on the drive power connector, causing interruption in the power supply to the drive.

Quality inspection of this part has been improved and no further instances are expected from currently shipping products.
