Maxtor XT4000 and 8000 Series Drives in VX FT
& FTs
We have experienced some problems with the above drives, and although
they are no longer current products, there are still a lot in circulation.

Terminator power is supplied via the SCSI bus (card) |
With both fitted, terminator power is supplied from both the drive and
the SCSI bus.
We have experienced formatting problems when none of the jumpers are
fitted. The factory originally shipped them with JP41 fitted and we recommend that you use
this option.
