XEN-LS II / XEN-PC 5.25" Floppy Drives
It is possible that some 5.25" floppy drives have been shipped with
incorrect jumper settings. The result of this is that the floppy disks refuse to format at
high density, although previous data can be read without any problems.
The correct jumper settings are indicated with the black shading in the
following diagram :
