Known Problems with the Feature Card Installed in XEN-PCLS

System Hanging after Re-boot

The hanging after Windows Setup re-boot on A1 systems noted in the Engineering Approval report appears to be an intermittent problem, so far reported on only one system (DX2-66): a number of other A1 systems were tested and all worked OK. If the problem does happen, powering down and up clears the fault and there is no loss of data.

Security Beep Not Working Properly

The noise reported when the Security sub-system acknowledges an IR card signal on Revenge based products (RBxxxxx) is a feature! The software was run as an ".EXE" after DOS had loaded and it correctly 'beeped'. The conclusion is the motherboard BIOS does not complete the hardware setup/configuration until after any 'option ROM code' has been executed, therefore there is very little that can be done.
