CD-ROM cannot be Hot plugged externally on AL700
Notebook
The CD-ROM and Floppy Disk Drives can be fitted both internally and
externally. However, the CD-ROM drive cannot be Hot plugged via the external Cable. The
recommendation is to have the CD connected internally and the floppy drive hot pluggable
via the external cable.
