Microsoft LAN Manager 2 Workstation Software Versions

After extensive testing using LAN Manager 2 we have found that the version of software on the workstation and the server must match. If this is not done, data corruption will appear on the server in files that are either copied from, or used by, a workstation whose LAN Manager software is of a different version to the server.

We also recommend the version of LAN Manager 2 to be used is 2.00b. Upgrades to earlier versions of LAN Manager 2 can be obtained from LAN Manager suppliers.
