Novell NetWare Updates

Novell have recently released onto NetWire a number of software updates for various NetWare releases. As always, these updates have been placed onto Apricot’s Insight BBS in file area 37 (also available via anonymous FTP from ftp.apricot.co.uk in /pub/bbs/area37).

• 312PT6.EXE
  This contains the latest patch kit for NetWare 3.12. A number of new patches have been added, and Novell have also re-organised the structure of the kit so that it is easier to install the correct patches into the correct places (STARTUP.NCF and AUTOEXEC.NCF).
  
  
• MAP312.EXE
  MAP312.EXE contains a new version of MAP.EXE for NetWare 3.1x (3.75 ptf) that fixes some problems with mapping drives from within Windows DOS boxes.
  
  
• LOG376.EXE
  LOG376.EXE contains a new version of LOGIN.EXE for NetWare 3.1x (3.76 ptf) that fixes a problem with the login script EXIT command when a command of more than 14 characters is used.
  
  
• LOG412.EXE
  LOG412.EXE contains a new version of LOGIN.EXE for NetWare 4.x (4.12 ptf) that fixes a problem with identifying groupnames that are identical apart from the last character.
  
  
• 41RTR1.EXE
  41RTR1.EXE contains an update for the O/S protocol modules supplied with NetWare 4.10, including a new TCPIP.NLM, INETCFG.NLM, IPXCFG.NLM, APPLETLK.NLM, IPXRTR.NLM, and other associated support modules.
