Novell NetWare Updates

Novell have recently released onto NetWire a number of software updates for NetWare. As always, these updates have been placed into File Area 37 of Insight BBS (and are also available by anonymous FTP from ftp.apricot.co.uk in /bbs/area37).

• 312PT8.EXE
  This archive contains the latest released patch kit for NetWare 3.12.
  
  
• 311PTE.EXE
  This archive contains the latest released patch kit for NetWare 3.11.
  
  
• CDUP4.EXE
  This archive contains the latest CD-ROM support modules for NetWare 3.12 and 4.x. Installation instructions are the same as are documented in IPB 2254.
  
  
• SBACK6.EXE
  This archive contains the latest version of SBACKUP for NetWare 3.11 and above. It should be used in conjunction with SMSUP5.EXE or later (see IPB 2258).
  
  
• STRTL5.EXE
  This archive contains the latest IPXS, SPXS, TLI and STREAMS modules for NetWare 3.11, 3.12, SFT III v3.11 and 4.10.
  
  
• LANDR6.EXE
  This archive contains the latest server ODI LAN driver support modules (MSM, MSM31X, ETHERTSM), along with the latest driver releases for Novell’s NExxxx series of LAN cards.
  
  
• CONFG5.EXE
  Not actually an update, but this archive contains a useful diagnostic tool from Novell that when loaded will produce a file (SYS:SYSTEM\CONFIG.TXT) listing all the NetWare modules loaded, server version, memory, disk and volume details, all server .NCF files, and optionally can also record all SET parameters and directory listings of ‘critical’ server directories.
