16 - 64GB DDS II Autoloader support for Cheyenne ARCserve

For Cheyenne ARCserve changer option to correctly work with the 16 - 64GB DDS II Autoloader the Firmware on the device needs to upgrade from 5.75 to 5.79 or greater.

This can be performed by a firmware upgrade tape that can be supplied from Technical Support.

To upgrade the firmware.

  • Manually load the tape.
  • Wait until the tape streamer finishes accessing the media.
  • Eject the tape.
  • Restart the machine.

After use can the firmware tape be returned to Technical Support.
