Shogun configured with DPT & 3c59x causing installation / configuration problems with Windows NT 3.51

If a Shogun is configured with a Single or Dual DPT controllers on PCI Bus 2 and a PCI 3Com card on PCI BUS 1 then Windows NT will not correctly detect the 3Com card.

This problem is caused by Rel 2 (3.20) of SCU and Windows NT not interpreting these settings correctly.

To overcome this problem the machine must be totally reconfigured using Rel 1 (3.11) of SCU (See Shogun Facts, Tips and Tricks).

The problem is currently under investigation and will be fixed in future releases of SCU.

Release 1 (3.11) of SCU can be obtained from Apricot Insight BBS in Area 44 in a file called SCU1.EXE
