Windows NT 4.0 when installed on the FT1200 server may display the following error messages in the Windows NT Event viewer:-

A conflict has been detected between two drivers which claimed two overlapping IO port regions. Driver aic78xx, with device <\Device\ScsiPort1.Translated>, claimed an IO port range with starting address in data address 0x28 and 0x2c, and length in data address 0x30.

A conflict has been detected between two drivers which claimed two overlapping Io port regions. Driver ati, with device <\Device\Video0.Translated>, claimed an IO port range with starting address in data address 0x28 and 0x2c, and length in data address 0x30.

When installing Windows NT 4.0, NT will automatically detect and install the ATI video driver from the NT 4.0 CD-ROM.

To resolve the conflict you must install the ATI VIDEO XPRESSION driver from the ATI Mach64 WinNT drivers disk supplied with the system. Details of installing the driver are provided within the Readme.NT4 file, supplied on the drivers disk.

The driver is also available for download from the Insight BBS in file area 41, filename 64NT4303.EXE.
