Windows 3.11 and Logitec Keyboard Driver

A number of issues have been identified with recent LS and VS series pruducts installed with Windows (and Windows for Workgroups) 3.11 where strange keyboard behaviour has been reported under certain applications.

After investigation, it has been found that the enhanced Logitec keyboard driver used on newer systems may cause an issue with earlier application software packages. The solution to this is to revert back to using the standard Microsoft Windows keyboard driver.

To do this, you will need to edit SYSTEM.INI and change the line that reads

Keyboard=c:\mouse\lvkd.386

to read

Keyboard=*vkd
