Problems Installing the Sony ATAPI CD-ROM driver with Release Disk 4

Problems have been encountered when installing the ATAPI CD-ROM driver from Apricot release disk 4 (153964SW) CD-ROM setup program 2.99d.

Under the following conditions, the script will enter a double entry of MSCDEX.EXE in the autoexec.bat.

C:\DOS\MSCDEX.EXE\MSCDEX.EXE /D:mscd0000 /m:12 /v

During the CD-ROM driver instillation a check will be made for the presence of MSCDEX.EXE in the C:\DOS directory. If MSCDEX.EXE is located in the C:\DOS directory and you choose to install the CD-ROM driver in a different directory other than the default C:\DEV,(i.e. C:\DOS), the instillation script will add the incorrect entry to the AUTOEXEC.BAT.

If the driver is installed to the default directory C:\DEV then the entry is correct.
