Notification of Change of Part Number for XEN-PC FloppyDrive

Please be advised that due to a change to a ‘UNC SCREW’ variant of the SONY MPF520-xxx 3.5" FLOPPY DRIVE , the part number for the XEN-PC Range floppy drive kit will change as follows :-

PT15425031 - MPF520 SPARE REPLACE MPF420

is now replaced by

PT16067631 - MPF520 UNC REPLACE MPF420

Due to the specification requirement for larger UNC screws on this new part number floppy drive, it is supplied pre-mounted on a new metal drive cradle and must therefore be fitted as a single complete unit replacing both the existing floppy drive & metal drive cradle. All other specifications & connections remain the same.

Your current Spring 1997 Spares Catalogue will also require updating with respect to the above change in the following sections :-
