New Tatung Monitor (XJ60678) Warranty Repair Procedure (UK) ONLY

With the introduction of the new 15" Tatung monitor, and future Tatung monitor introductions. Tatung are operating an on-site exchange program.

The on-site exchange process swaps "Like for Like" graded monitors within two working days (unless where nature of fault permits, minor repairs may be carried out on-site). If the swap out is not possible due to end user action (e.g. security marketing, customer ownership, etc), the monitor will be removed, repaired and returned within a further 10 working days (no loan left).

The procedure for on-site exchange will operate similar to the current Return to Base operation.

  1. The end-user contacts their authorised warranty repairer
  2. The authorised warranty repairer validates fault and warranty claim.
  3. The warranty repairer contacts Mitsubishi Electric’s PC Division’s Returns Desk for a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN).
  4. The authorised warranty repairer has the option to visit the customers site to effect the warranty call (e.g. for security clearance reasons) and remove the monitor for exchange at their premises, or, have the on-site exchange done at the customer premises.
  5. The warranty repairer then contacts the following Tatung on-site partner, quoting RAN, their company details & Customer details (where applicable).
    Contact: RHM Microtech – 01452 300320
  6. Tatung and it’s on-site service partner reserve the right to re validate the call where they deem necessary.

This procedure continues Mitsubishi Electric’s PC Division’s commitment to improving the quality of service and reducing the total cost of ownership.
