The Qi Dual Async Port - Interrupt Selection

The default interrupt for the Qi Dual Async Port is 11. Because of this conflict with the Chase card driver, the Dual Async driver for Xenix is located at interrupt 10. If you intend to use a Chase card or the Dual Async ports in a Qi system, it is most important that you set the Dual Async Port to interrupt 10, as specified in the Apricot Documentation Update Addendum: Using the Qi Twin Async Port under Xenix.

Failing to do this will result in a system which "hangs" when booting multi-user.

N.B. If auto-configure is run from your Reference Disk for any reason, the interrupt level for the Dual Async Port will be set back to its default of 11. In this case you must reboot your Reference Disk and change it back to 10.
