Qi 600 Systems with 5MB of System Memory

A problem has been identified with running 5 MB of memory in a Qi 600 system. The symptoms are a reduction in available memory during a cold boot and/or memory problems during operation - Xenix will invariably 'panic' with 'memory parity errors' at this point.

This problem is under investigation by Apricot R & D and you will be informed as soon as a fix is available.

In the meantime, we recommend that you configure systems with 4 MB installed, rather than 5 MB.
