Internal Modem Fix for SCO Xenix on Apricot AT Systems

SCO have identified a problem using some internal modems as answer devices on AT bus systems (XEN-S, 386 deskside systems and VX1000 systems).

If you see the error message "Garbage or loose cable on serial dev <x>, port shut down" when an internal modem attempts to answer a call, please contact Apricot Unix Support and request fix - xnx128.

A copy of xnx128 is available on the Bulletin Board in file area 25.

N.B. Fix xnx128 applies to SCO Xenix 286 Release 2.2.3 and SCO Xenix 386 Release 2.3.0 and 2.3.1 only.
