Internal Modem Fix for SCO Xenix on Apricot
AT Systems
SCO have identified a problem using some internal modems as answer
devices on AT bus systems (XEN-S, 386 deskside systems and VX1000 systems).
If you see the error message "Garbage or loose cable on serial dev
<x>, port shut down" when an internal modem attempts to answer a call, please
contact Apricot Unix Support and request fix - xnx128.
A copy of xnx128 is available on the Bulletin Board in file area 25.
N.B. |
Fix xnx128 applies to SCO Xenix 286 Release 2.2.3 and SCO
Xenix 386 Release 2.3.0 and 2.3.1 only. |
