VX FT Server - Series 800 UNIX Servers - Serial Channels

The 800/10 and 800/30 are each supplied with a 32 serial channels interface, while the 800/60 and 800/90 are each supplied with a 64 serial channels interface.

In effect, the 800/10 and 800/30 each have one Specialix MCA Host Card, while the 800/60 and 800/90 each have two Specialix MCA Host Cards. To connect terminals to these cards, it is necessary to purchase either 8 Port Terminal Adapters (TA8s - Product Code XB43320) or 4 Port Terminal Adapters (TA4s - Product Code XB43319). Each Specialix Host Card will support up to four Terminal Adapters of either type, giving a maximum value of 32 ports per card.

Please do not forget to order the appropriate Terminal Adapters when configuring a VX FT system.
