Specialix cards and distribution boxes

Two versions of the card are currently around on MCA Bus machines. The version 1.1 card and 1.2 card have identical logic, but the 1.2 card has a serrated washer which on the lower bolt holds the cable connection to the PCB. This serrated washer should have a fibre or nylon washer inserted underneath it to prevent it cutting a track on the PCB. There is no need to replace a 1.2 revision card, simply fitting the fibre/nylon washer will prevent any problem occurring.

The TA distribution boxes come in two types, the latest version will be labelled on the underside as FCC approved. The FCC approved boxes correct an earthing issue and should replace non-FCC boxes where hanging terminal lines are occurring. All new shipments are of FCC approved distribution boxes.
