Modems on SCO Unix / SCO Xenix

All modems used with Unix and Xenix should be 100% Hayes compatible. It is often the case that internal modems are only 99% compatible and fail in one area, for example hanging up the line when a conversation completes. We therefore recommend that only external modems are used. The only modems which we know work with Xenix and Unix are those given below which have been tested internally.
