TCP/IP DOS Installation

When installing the DOS workstation TCP/IP software, the automatic install routine will give the option to update both the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files. What this actually does is to add information required for TCP/IP to load to your existing files, not amend them. If you check these files, you will probably find duplicate information. It is advised that you edit these files manually to correct any duplication or any anomalies (path statements etc.).
