SCO Xenix on VX1000 Range

Since shipment of the VX1000 AT Bus machine ceased, the revisions of SCO Xenix have moved on. To install SCO Xenix on this machine, four disks have always been required to provide full support for the Apricot SCSI card (a charge is levied for these disks). However these disks are designed for use with SCO Xenix 2.3.1 386 AT which is no longer available through SCO distributors.

Unless you can obtain SCO Xenix 2.3.1 386 AT from a SCO distributor with old stock then, regrettably, SCO Xenix can no longer be supplied for the Apricot VX1000 range. SCO Xenix 2.3.2 386 GT will not work with the Apricot disks as the associated operating system serial numbers and activation keys are incompatible. Regrettably, Apricot is now only to supply SCO Xenix 2.3.2 386 GT.
