External 150MB Archive Streamer (Re-Issue)
Please find below some known working settings for the external Archive
150MB unit on Apricot machines.
Software configuration:
|
Card Type: |
Archive |
|
DMA Channel: |
1 (see note below) |
|
Interrupt: |
5 |
|
I/O Port address: |
0x310 |
Note: the DMA channel may need to be changed to 3 if an Apricot
ESDI/SCSI card is installed.
The port address 0x310 avoids a clash with the 3Com 3C523 card in MCA
machines which uses 0x300 - 0x307
Archive VP402 AT bus adapter card hardware configuration would then be

in the FTs and FTe machines.
