External 150MB Archive Streamer (Re-Issue)

Please find below some known working settings for the external Archive 150MB unit on Apricot machines.

Software configuration:

Card Type: Archive
DMA Channel: 1 (see note below)
Interrupt: 5
I/O Port address: 0x310

Note: the DMA channel may need to be changed to 3 if an Apricot ESDI/SCSI card is installed.

The port address 0x310 avoids a clash with the 3Com 3C523 card in MCA machines which uses 0x300 - 0x307

Archive VP402 AT bus adapter card hardware configuration would then be as follows with jumpers fitted as indicated by ON:

(A) IRQ DRQ DACK

The details above apply only to product codes XP48813, XP48814, XP48815 and XP48816, which are QIC-02 tape units and not the Archive SCSI units as used internally in the FTs and FTe machines.
