SCO Supplements for SCO UNIX 3.2v4, TCP/IP 1.2 & NFS 1.2

All systems running SCO UNIX 3.2v4.0 should be upgraded to at least 4.1 (upgrade available via modem from Apricot); an upgrade to 4.2 is better still (product code SS51874 at £80.00 RRP). The following additional SCO Support Level Supplements may be required.

UNX365B for 3.2v4.[01], fixes for Adaptec 154* in 50 & 66MHz machines, crash in > 16MB machines and ct with long inittab lines. Uprates console driver to provide switchable SCO ANSI and Standard ANSI option. In summary a combined single update with a number of fixes.

Note: UOD369A is required with this supplement to cure possible locking Alt key.
UOD368B for 3.2v4.[012] or 3.2v2, fixes problem where -u or -l option to passwd removes user account from system.
UOD369A for 3.2v4.[012], fixes keyboard problems with locking Alt or Ctrl keys and allows 3.2v2 keyboard mapping mode.
UOD370A for 3.2v4.1, fixes system panics when doing raw I/O using SCSI disk scatter/gather.
NET362B for NFS 1.2.0, provides support for mounting CD-ROM filesystems across NFS.
NET363A for TCP/IP 1.2.0, fixes problems with bootp, SLIP, PPP and rlogin and telnet on large user systems. Combined supplement to TCP/IP 1.2.0 with a number of fixes.
NET371A for NFS 1.2.0, updates pcnfsd to understand supplemental groups and extends NIS password mapping to and /etc/shadow.
NET372A for TCP/IP 1.2.1, fixes very intermittent corruption of login procedure with rlogin. Also includes enhanced snmp daemon and allows non-blocking I/O with sockets.

All of these images are available via modem.

One additional fix is currently being tested by SCO and OEMs for hanging/ terminating telnet or rlogin sessions. Please call UNIX Support if you have this problem with TCP/IP 1.2.0, the problem has been remedied in TCP/IP 1.2.1.
