SCO TCP/IP 1.2.0 and SCO UNIX 3.2v4.2

SCO TCP/IP 1.2.0 from Apricot has always been a notionally unlimited user version of TCP/IP. Anyone purchasing a 2 or 16 user version of SCO UNIX V/386 3.2v4.2 will encounter startup problems if the 3+ user version of TCP/IP 1.2.0 is subsequently installed.

The best resolution is to use TCP/IP 1.2.1 which understands the user banding introduced with version 3.2v4.2 of SCO UNIX. SCO TCP/IP 1.2.1 from Apricot is the 3+ user version which will work with the 16 and 512 user versions of UNIX. At this time Apricot does not retail the 2 user version of SCO TCP/IP 1.2.1.

512 user versions of SCO UNIX V/386 3.2v4.2 will work quite correctly with the 3+ user version of TCP/IP 1.2.0.

Please remember that if you are using NFS 1.2.0 it is necessary to upgrade this to version 1.2.1 if you upgrade TCP/IP to version 1.2.1.
