SCO UNIX 3.2v4.* and Adaptec AHA-1640 MCA cards

Although this area has been bulletined before, some confusion still seems to exist. SCO UNIX 3.2v4 will not run on Adaptec cards prior to revision 03E with Rev A BIOS. Adaptec 05E and 05F cards are fine.

When upgrading a server with an older revision Adaptec, the cost of the card upgrade must be included in the cost of the upgrade. SCO UNIX 3.2v4 Adaptec drivers require functionality only available in these later revision cards and Apricot is not responsible for upgrading old cards.
