External 5.25" Floppy Drive Cable for
XEN-S
Some confusion has arisen over the length of cable between the
motherboard connector and the 3.5" drive connector on the floppy drive data cable
supplied with the external 5.25" drive.
There are 3 revisions of the cable part number 14299531:
Part Number 14299531 revision 1
Use connector
(a) in the motherboard if you require the external drive to be A:
(b) in the motherboard if you require the external drive to be B:
(c) in the 3.5" internal drive of XEN-i or XEN-S Venus I machines
(d) in the 5.25" internal drives of XEN-i systems
(e) in the 3.5" internal drive of XEN-S 240X or XEN-S Venus II
machines
(f) to fit cable 14046641 to the external drive

Use connector
