Apricot AdLOC Cards and XEN-PC

The AdLOC card may be installed in a XEN-PC provided the system has one of the following minimum motherboard build levels:

XEN-PC REV E Build 17

XEN-PC REV F Build 13

If the motherboard is earlier than either of the above, the AdLOC card will not function correctly. In this case, the motherboard may be returned to Network Si Group for a warranty repair.

The following hardware settings may be used to configure the AdLOC card for a supported XEN-PC motherboard build:

IRQ: 3 5* 10 11 12
Base I/O: 300h
ROM Address: C800h - CBFFh
CC00h - CFFFh
D000h - D3FFh
D400h - D7FFh
D800h - DBFFh
DC00h - DFFFh

ASU.EXE may then be run to program security in the usual manner.

* To make IRQ 5 available it is necessary to disable the CD-ROM controller on the motherboard using the SETUP utility.
