XEN-LS II V1.00 BIOS Issues

Floating Point Co-pro Exception Routine - Affects OS/2 2.0

It has been observed that the XEN-LS II occasionally fails to report and handle an OS/2 2.0 Co-Processor floating point exception error. This can be cured by installing version 1.02 or later BIOS where OS/2 2.0 is used.

Non Hard Disk Systems

When a XEN-LS II is used without a hard drive there will be a thirty second delay while the version 1.0 BIOS times-out the non-existent drive. This is fixed by a later version of BIOS which has an extra field in SETUP (HARD DRIVE = NONE).

BIOS version 1.02 can be obtained from Technical Services on an exchange and return basis.
