LPX Motherboard PSU Connector

It has been observed that these connectors can be connected the wrong way round.

Although each connector has a key in different positions, it is possible to force the connectors home, even though the alignment key is in the wrong position.

Please make sure that when putting the PSU connectors back onto the motherboard, that the Ground (BLACK) wires are grouped together in the middle of the 12-way connector on the motherboard, as per the illustration below.

Failure to connect them the right way round could result in damage to the motherboard / Power Supply Unit.
