HP T4IDE Internal Tape drive not recognised by
Spitfire based systems

The HP T4IDE Internal Tape Drive will not be recognised, when fitted
into a system that has a Spitfire motherboard which has a BIOS version of 10.05 or less.
To get the tape drive to work in a Spitfire based system you need to
upgrade the BIOS to version 10.06 or greater.
The latest BIOS for the Spitfire motherboard is available from the
following location on the internet, or from File Area 43 of the Apricot BBS
(BBS Tel= 0121-717-0444).
