VX-Net Version 3.13

The new version of the REDIR.EXE program (27/9/88) supplied with VX-Net 3.13 fixes the following problems:

DBASE IV

The messages "end of file" and "record not in index" occurring unexpectedly when scrolling through a data file using the "browse" facility. These errors would occur after the data file had been re-indexed across the network.

CLIPPER

Clipper reporting "out of memory" errors whilst running sort routines on a data file.

NOTE

Neither of these two problems occurred if the databases were run on a workstation's local hard disk. (Prior to VX-Net 3.13).
